3 Easy & Healthy Breakfast Ideas Perfect for Work or School

We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day! However, many of us (me included) skip breakfast on occasion or every single day. I find myself not having time to make breakfast in the morning and it is easily pushed down on my priority list. To overcome this I decided to have some easy, quick, and healthy options available in my fridge/freezer. Here are 3 easy & healthy breakfast ideas! All of these can be made ahead of time so they are perfect to grab before work or school!

1. Yogurt Parfait

This is one of my absolute favorites to have in the morning! It doesn’t require cooking anything so it is the easiest of the three and it is the healthiest as well.

All you need is fruit of your choice (my favorite is strawberries and blueberries), yogurt, and granola.

Layer your yogurt with you fruit and then add the granola on top. Put it in a mason jar or Tupperware, place it in the fridge, grab it in the morning, and eat it on the go!

2. Egg & Sausage Sandwich

This sandwich is so good, comparable to the egg mcmuffin, but way better and healthier!

You will need some sausage patties, fried eggs, and english muffins. Cut the english muffins in half and toast them. Also remember to place your sausage patties on some paper towel after cooking them to help get some grease off.

Now place one egg and one sausage patty on each muffin. You can also add a slice of cheese if you want. Also if you don’t like sausage then bacon or ham is also good.

Next just wrap up the sandwiches in plastic wrap and place them in the freezer until morning.

3. Egg & Sausage burritos

Similar to the sandwich, but in burrito form. Good tip: Hot sauce tastes delicious on these!

For the burritos you need some tortilla shells, cooked sausage, and scrambled eggs.

Place some sausage and eggs in each shell. At this point you can also add shredded cheese! Now roll up the burritos!

Finally wrap up each of the burritos in plastic wrap just like the sandwich and place them into the freezer until morning.
